About Us
Years ago, we were described by a local news reporter as having sawdust in our blood! Our grandfather, Buford, was a respected and well-liked civil servant and local entrepreneur who manufactured wood caskets in Carnesville, GA. Before him, his grandfather owned and labored at his saw mill.
We are a small business, family-owned, which through the steadfast nurture and encouragement of our dad, Jack, came to be Taylor Brothers Manufacturing, Inc., back in 1991.For certain, our dad taught us to "Dream with our eyes open". Also early on, we were influenced personally and professionally by the skillful guidance and generous actions of two very reputable Georgia businessmen, both of deep character and integrity, Mr. Bill Rives, "retired" owner of the Louver Shop, and Mr. Milton Spratlin, a now retired bank vice-president.
To date, several of our employees have grown with us since the early years. Our supervisors Liz, Chuck, John and Josh are each a unique and integral part of our team who daily do their part to coordinate and manage their departments in our 37,500 square foot plant.
We proudly and gratefully acknowledge it is by the grace of God we have weathered many business challenges and through his providence are still here today. We trust him for these daily!
